Foot and ankle surgery

Foot and ankle surgery at the FSC Marbella

The huge variety and complexity of disorders in the foot and ankle requires a structured approach in order to establish an appropriate therapy plan. The close cooperation with our department of podiatry enables us to achieve a differential diagnostic finding with the help of static and dynamic gait analysis in addition to the clinical and radio diagnostic examination of the patient.

On choosing the correct surgical treatment option we use the latest surgical techniques attempting where ever possible to maintain proper articulation. We have access to the newest surgical implants and can therefore use the gentlest surgical techniques possible.

This also applies to post-surgical treatment where we try to avoid long term immobilisation after surgery with the help of the most modern orthotic devices.
